We are Rail Media and we create opportunities to connect the Global Rail Industry. 

Our team keeps the industry connected with the latest products, developments and projects. Whether it be through one of our magazines, attending one of our many events where our events team connect like minded professionals or utilising our recruitment team that help companies connect with the ideal candidates.

Rail Media have the rail industry covered, and here’s how;


RailStaff Magazine focuses on the people within the rail industry and covers all of the great, positive stories. It includes regular monthly features that our 175,000 readers love - these include safety, training, tech and gear (amongst others)! Distributed to 81% of the UK Rail Industry at stations, depots and academies up and down the country, RailStaff can often be seen on the desks of offices such as Network Rail, Bombardier and Interfleet.

Rail Engineer is written by engineers, for engineers. Our engineer writers visit projects, factories, stations and depots all around the UK and meet with specialist engineers bringing our readers the latest projects and developments. As if this isn’t enough, we also bring you all of the latest updates on all aspects of rolling stock, whether onboard technology or mechanical enhancements focussing on safety, energy and the passenger experience.

Global Rail News provides daily updates about the global rail industry; from the awarding of multi-million euro train orders to the completion of major infrastructure projects. Through daily and weekly newsletters, we connect the thousands of subscribers with up to the minute news and analysis directly to their inbox.

Rail Summits

The Rail Safety Summit provides that unique opportunity for rail safety professionals to gather, network and learn about new developments in safety and security from leading industry figures. Compiled by a panel of industry experts, this is has become the must attend annual event for all safety folk.

The Rail BIM Summit made it’s debut in 2015 and was a huge success, a sell-out event. In order to find out how to comply with the government's requirement for implementing Level 2 BIM and its impact on the rail industry, attending the Rail BIM Summit is a must! With time for networking and a spot of lunch, there will be plenty of opportunity to see exhibitors, new technology and brush up on the latest ‘BIMformation’.

The Rail Sustainability Summit gathers industry professionals and experts in sustainability to answer all of the burning questions around improving the sustainability of rail and driving the industry forward. Alongside the usual light lunch and networking, you can exchange ideas and hear about best practice in the rail industry.

Rail Exec Club

The Rail Exec Club Luncheons are a great way to network with like minded rail industry executives.  Always held in beautiful, historic and exclusive venues, the Rail Exec Club provides the perfect surrounding to hear from industry leaders. The four course luncheons are held 3 times a year - twice in London and once in the Midlands area.

Rail Exec Gala & Most Interesting Awards is the grand finale to the year’s Rail Exec Club luncheons and host to the Most Interesting awards. The Rail Exec Gala is a celebratory networking event that crowns the most interesting projects and developments of the year. Not content with being just another industry awards event, The Rail Exec Gala incorporates stunning entertainment with fantastic food and a room full of senior industry professionals celebrating the year’s innovations within rail.

The RailStaff Awards

The RailStaff Awards is all about the individuals and recognises the great achievements of so many people who work on the railway. This awards ceremony focuses on saying a big fat Thank You to spectacular people. Whether you’ve saved a life, managed a huge scale project or just done your job darn well this year - this event is a celebration of the great work so many individuals undertake each day, from drivers to cleaners, engineers to station staff. Often these are stories of lives saved, careers turned around and adversity conquered. This recognition of our people in the national RailStaff Awards is the event of the year and next year we have our 10th anniversary.
